Sue Taylor
Sue Taylor ITEC Dip, N.A.E.T. Accredited NAET Practitioner.
Sue
was born and raised in the UK. Her father is an ENT consultant surgeon and her mother is a physiotherapist, so she has been around medicine her entire life. After a 15-year career as a police officer in London, England, she found her own calling in medicine in the natural healing arts. She had always had problems with food allergies, suffering from Irritable Bowel, sinusitis, lethargy and brain fog. For many years she had avoided certain foods, particularly yeast and milk, her worst allergens. She also had a severe allergy to coconut. She was introduced to NAET when her future husband Dominick started treatment for his own allergies and later completed the course to become a practitioner. Naturally he treated her for her allergies and she found that she was able to return to eating all of the foods that had previously been a problem, including the coconut.
First certified in Holistic Massage, Sue decided to study the use of this powerful technique for treating allergies. She graduated as a NAET allergy therapist from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, UK and went on to work in several health clinics in England. She has worked with chiropractic and osteopathic practitioners, and in a conventional primary care medical setting. Her unusual skill with this powerful technique has allowed her to treat people of all ages. Like acupuncture, this tool can also help animals, and Sue has treated horses, for which she has had a lifelong passion, and other small animals.
Like many passionate learners, Sue has incorporated principals and techniques from other disciplines into her work. She has studied nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, bodywork systems, Bowen Therapy and mind-body techniques. In early 2009 she immigrated to Ottawa with her husband, Dominick Hussey, to work as an allergy specialist in the Integral Health Clinic.
In December 2010 she was invited to join the Seekers Centre for Integrative Medicine in Ottawa, along with Dominick and Shahram, and worked there for a year before the Integral Health Clinic relocated to Waverley St, Ottawa. The Integral Health Clinic continues to have a close relationship with Dr Richard Nahas and his progressive team at the Seekers Centre.
She is currently studying with a Shaman and Tantric Healer in order to develop her own understanding and feel with energy medicine.
