As a holistic practitioner, Dr. Shahram Ayoubzadeh has a background in conventional medicine as a medical doctor, a sub-specialty in infectious disease, and both naturopathic and homeopathic degrees, plus 3 years of study in acupuncture.

Finding the Most Profound Effect on Health

Dr. Shahram graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Dakar, Senegal, N.D., M.D., FIACA, and specialized in tropical disease and leprosy. He decided to leave conventional medicine to focus on what has the most profound effect on peoples’ health when done properly.

Since his 1987 arrival in Canada, Dr. Shahram has studied all branches of holistic medicine and natural approaches to healing. In 1990, he obtained his N.D. from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Soon after, he focused on the field of homeopathy, and graduated from the Homeopathic Universalis and Dynamis School’s 3-Year Advanced program and became a Master Clinician via a 3-year program in Classical Homeopathy.

30 Years & 15,000 Patients

Practicing for more than 30 years, and having served some 15,000 patients, Dr. Shahram has the ability to deeply read patients and recognize patterns. While many homeopaths may only use up to 60 remedies, Dr. Shahram has used thousands of remedies throughout the years.

Patients share that they feel well taken care of with Dr. Shahram’s medical training. “It provides a high level of confidence to my patients. They value opinions from a medical doctor who is both a naturopath and homeopath,” he says.

The majority of Dr. Shahram’s patients come from his patient referrals around the world who actively refer their family and friends, so that their bodies too can be cured. Doctors, pharmacists, psychologists, chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists and others refer patients as they know his capabilities and results.

Learning & Giving Back

Through the years, Dr. Shahram continually has sought further education via advanced seminars and has studied with master homeopathic doctors such as Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten, Alize Timmerman, and Louis Klein.

to be homeopaths, in 1998 he founded and became director and principal instructor of the Canadian Homeopathic Institute based in Ottawa. This college offers introductory and advanced-level courses in homeopathy. Dr. Shahram has taught homeopathy since 1999 to medical doctors, nurses, and other clinicians/practitioners, researchers, scientists, and others. He currently also serves as Dean of the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine.

Dr. Shahram has often has been invited as a speaker/presenter at major national conventions for naturopaths, medical schools, a symposium in Jamaica, and often in Ottawa. Further, he conducts workshops for patients and families on topics around the mind-body-spirit connection (dynamics/interactions), such as the Journey from Anxiety And Recklessness To Peace And Stillness, group sessions on Marriage and Relationships, and Life Workshop For The Growth Of The Soul.

The Physician, The Person

Along with his busy practice, college, and community outreach, Dr. Shahram has gathered more than 100 patient cases that he intends to publish.

Despite this all, he always placed his family as a priority, with whom he was dedicated, including raising his two children who now are adults. A highly spiritual person, his spiritual exploration has included Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and the Baha’i faith.
